Common questions

Which engagement is right for me?
If you have no clear plan yet, First Draft is a good starting point. If you have a plan but feel uncertain about it, Considered Revision is better suited. If you want a thoughtful presence through a longer period of change, Editor in Residence may be the right fit. We're happy to discuss this during an initial call.
Do sessions happen in person or online?
We offer both. In-person sessions are held at our office in Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya. For clients outside the Klang Valley or who prefer it, sessions are conducted via video call. Some clients find a mix of both works well for them.
How long does it take to get started?
We typically schedule a short introductory call within a few days of your enquiry. From there, we'll agree on the best engagement and find a session time that suits you. We don't overbook, so our attention is genuinely available when you need it.
What industries do you work with?
We work with a range of small businesses across service, retail, F&B, and creative sectors. The common thread is the owner — someone who takes the work seriously, wants to think things through, and is open to outside perspective. Industry specialisation matters less than the quality of the working relationship.
What does the written plan look like?
It is a concise, readable document — typically one to three pages. It captures where you are, where you want to be, the key considerations between those two points, and what we suggest focusing on next. It is meant to be used, not filed away.
Is my business information kept confidential?
Yes. Everything shared with us during an engagement is treated with care and discretion. We do not discuss client matters with third parties. For longer engagements, a mutual confidentiality agreement can be arranged on request.
